British photographer Tim Flach is the author of these insanely good photographs of dogs, a series of works which are a part of his recently published book Dogs Gods. In an exceptional photo gallery Flach portrays four legged pets, as it turns out, unusually attractive models, in a completely different light than we are used to seeing man’s best friends in. Originality and an entirely personal approach while shooting these beautiful animals characterize this seemingly usual and simple project. However, the thirty-six works from the Dogs Gods series are anything but, and are sure to leave few people indifferent, especially because, unlike the run-of-the-mill dog photos which are for the most part too narrative, catalogue-esque and kitschy, these portraits are right little works of art.
